How Truths Become Hidden
Can I ask you a question? Do you struggle to find meaning in this world? Do you have trouble seeing the beauty in each day? I mean, you know it’s there, right? In the beautiful blue sky, the magnificent flower that erupts from a tiny seed, the birds that sing in perfect harmony with one another?
But, maybe something bad has happened in your life, burying you under a mountain of emotional pain. You can barely breathe let alone see the beauty in the world. When we’re alone, the unknown haunts us with fear, regret, and wishful thinking. It hides the truth, steals our ability to find joy and happiness, and forces us to live in limbo, .
And in the rat race of everyday of life, people talk, but who listens? It almost feels like society would rather push whatever cause is at hand than listen to our individual struggles. But human contact and acknowledgement are as essential to us as food and water. Humans were designed to listen and be listened to. The problem is that not all of us have a listening someone in our lives that we trust with our deepest, most vulnerable experiences. Can you relate? Let me know in the comments if this is you.
If this is you, I want you to know you’re not alone. This is the first hidden truth. If you have experienced a loss or change that is weighing you down, we’re here to listen and impact your life in a positive way. On the flip side, if you are someone who has survived a significant loss or change, we need to hear from you, too. How’d you overcome? How did you find that hidden truth?

While I am a Licensed Social Worker and former grief counselor, I’m not currently a therapist. Anything you hear or see on this website should not be considered a replacement for therapy. I highly advocate therapy for everyone! But not everyone will go. The only thing I know for certain is that we were placed on this earth to help one another. Let’s do that!
And remember, there’s more to life than muddling through. This is an amazing and beautiful place. Are you ready to start digging for hidden truths?
